Srinidhi Shetty Redefines The Rules For Young Heroines

Many young actresses hesitate to play mothers on screen but several heroines are now breaking this trend. Shraddha Srinath, Nivetha Thomas, Mrunal Thakur and Aishwarya Rajesh have already taken up such roles.

Now, Srinidhi Shetty has joined them by playing the mother of two children in Aadarsha Kutumbam, opposite Venkatesh.

The 34 year old actress believes that playing characters of different ages should not affect an actress’s image. She feels such roles offer new challenges and should be accepted without hesitation.

This trend was also much popular in the 1990s when actresses like Soundarya and Simran balanced glamorous roles with motherhood characters.

Srinidhi is now carrying the trend forward confidently.
